Happy Springs Everyone,
I’ve got the idea it is Spring – seeing the daffodils, the crocuses and the plum tree in bloom.
Last year saw your vision from the first community meeting became an amazing, bountiful garden! Much food was made available at our Jemez Springs Farmers Market at reasonable prices.
I am so grateful to Jennifer, Margaia, Forrest, Ron and Rich from Cuba, Koala (who is back in Thailand) and all of you who helped with this new beginning, and in support of the spiritual Buddhist practices that Bodhi Manda offers.
Bodhi invites you to come this Saturday from 9am-4pm for an update on our community garden, and to receive your input and suggestions for 2017. Meet our gardener Walter, and meet our WWOOFers. (WWOOF is Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms, an organization that links willing volunteers with small farms.)
In addition to the meeting itself, there will be some hands-on garden work for those physically able. A delicious and nutritious lunch and dinner will be served.
Also, attached is the flyer(Jemez Pueblo event 1 Apr) from Jemez Pueblo Farming for a farming event happening on Saturday as well, and concluding here at the Bodhi after our community garden gathering. Whether or not you come for the meeting, feel free to join us here by 5pm for the Butterfly dance, dinner and music.
